We are seeking to fill the position of Captain on board a 2019 excellent condition 37 meter Italian build yacht. We are in the process of accepting the vessel and close the purchase by the 30th of June. Owners are American, family from Southern US, and experienced. The owners have already some crew from their previous yacht that will come on board and we are talking with the 2 engineers that vessel has already on board and have been with the vessel since new.
To answer a legit question if it comes in mind, unfortunately the captain that was on board was foreigner so we couldn't hire him due to flag issues and the captain that owners had in their previous yacht has a local job and a new born so he can not join an active vessel.
The yacht will not do more than 20 weeks a year. 10 for the owners and 10 charters. And that is the maximum that you will face.
Salary is above industry standards for an experience captain that would suit the vessel and owners. Health insurance also offered.
Yacht will run with a crew of 7. Charter management of the yacht will be probably via Fraser yachts that owners had their previous yacht with.
